How to Connect

3A Google OAuth popup appears - sign in with the Google account that owns your Search Console property.
4Grant the requested permissions (read-only access to Search Console data).
5If you have multiple properties, select the one matching your Shopify store domain.
6Data starts loading immediately - you'll see performance charts and query tables.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is my Google data safe?

Yes. We use Google's official OAuth 2.0 flow with read-only access. We never store your Google password. You can revoke access at any time from your Google account settings.

How often is the data updated?

Google Search Console data is refreshed each time you visit the page. Note that Google typically has a 2-3 day delay in reporting search data.

Do I need to verify my site in Google Search Console first?

Yes. Your Shopify store must be verified in Google Search Console before you can connect it. Most Shopify stores are auto-verified if you've set up Google services.

How does GSC data improve AI optimization?

When connected, the wRanks shows real performance data per product/page. The AI prioritizes keywords with high impressions but low CTR - these are "almost ranking" and a small optimization can dramatically increase traffic.
