Frequently Asked Questions
Does submitting guarantee indexing?
No. Submitting a URL tells Google/Bing that the page exists or has been updated. The search engines still decide whether and when to crawl and index the page based on their own criteria.
How often can I submit URLs?
Google has a daily quota (typically 200 URLs/day for the Indexing API). Bing IndexNow has no practical limit. We recommend submitting only when content actually changes.
Do I need Google API credentials?
For Google submissions, yes - you need a Google Cloud service account with Indexing API access. For Bing IndexNow, no setup is needed.
