Installation & Setup
How do I install the app?
Install directly from the Shopify App Store. Click "Add app", authorize the permissions, and complete the onboarding wizard. No code changes or theme modifications are needed.
Does the app work with all Shopify themes?
Yes. The app works with all Shopify themes. The only theme-dependent feature is Structured Data (JSON-LD), which uses Shopify's Theme App Extension - compatible with all Online Store 2.0 themes.
Can I use the app on multiple stores?
Each Shopify store needs its own app installation and subscription. Credits and settings are per-store.
Does the app slow down my store?
No. The app runs entirely inside the Shopify admin. It does not add scripts to your storefront (except the optional Structured Data and Social Meta extensions, which are minimal).
Credits & Billing
How do credits work?
Credits are the currency for AI-powered features. Each field optimization (e.g., generating a product title) costs 1 credit. Blog articles cost 5-15 credits depending on length. Credits reset monthly with your billing cycle.
What features are free?
Structured Data, Robots.txt, Fast Indexing, 301 Redirects, Social Networks, AI Content Settings, and Notifications are all completely free and don't consume credits.
Can I buy more credits?
Agency plan users can purchase additional credit packs. Other plans can upgrade to get more monthly credits.
What happens when I run out of credits?
Free features continue to work normally. AI content generation pauses until your credits renew on the next billing cycle.
Do unused credits roll over?
No. Credits reset at the start of each billing cycle. We recommend using your credits before they expire.
AI & Content
Which AI model powers the content generation?
We use OpenAI's GPT-4o for text generation and DALL-E for image generation. For AI Mentions, we query 8 different AI platforms including ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, and more.
Will AI-generated content hurt my SEO?
No. Google has confirmed that AI-generated content is acceptable as long as it's helpful, relevant, and well-written. Our AI generates content specifically optimized for search engines with proper keyword placement and readability.
Can I edit AI-generated content before publishing?
Always. Every AI suggestion is shown in a review editor. You can accept, reject, or modify any generated content before saving to Shopify.
Is the generated content unique?
Yes. Each generation creates unique content based on your specific product data, brand voice, and store context. No two products get the same content.
Privacy & Security
Is my store data safe?
We only access the Shopify data needed to generate optimizations (products, collections, pages, blog articles). We never sell your data to third parties and all data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.
What permissions does the app need?
The app requires read/write access to products, collections, pages, blog articles, and themes (for structured data injection). These are standard Shopify app permissions.
Can I revoke access at any time?
Yes. You can uninstall the app at any time from your Shopify admin. All app data is removed upon uninstallation.
