How Credits Work
Credits are the currency that powers AI-generated content in the app. Every time the AI generates content for you - whether it's a product title, a meta description, or a blog article - it costs credits.
Key concept: Each individual field optimization uses 1 credit. Optimizing a product's title = 1 credit. Its meta description = 1 more credit. You choose which fields to optimize.

Frequently Asked Questions
What happens when I run out of credits?
You can still use all free features (structured data, robots.txt, indexing, etc.). AI content generation will pause until your credits renew on your next billing cycle. Paid plan users can purchase additional credit packs as a one-time charge.
Do unused credits roll over?
Credits reset at the start of each billing cycle. Unused credits do not carry over to the next month.
Can I upgrade or downgrade at any time?
Yes. Plan changes take effect immediately. When upgrading, you receive additional credits right away. Shopify handles prorated billing automatically.
Is there a free trial?
Yes! All paid plans (Starter, Pro, and Agency) include a 3-day free trial. You won't be charged until the trial period ends. Additionally, the Free plan is available permanently with 10 credits per month, so you can explore the core features at no cost before deciding to upgrade.
How does bulk optimization affect credits?
Bulk optimization processes multiple products at once, but each field still costs 1 credit. If you bulk-optimize titles for 10 products, it uses 10 credits.
How do one-time credit purchases work?
Go to Settings → Subscription in the app and click "Buy Credits". Choose the amount (100-10,000 in increments of 100) and approve the one-time charge through Shopify. Credits are added to your account instantly and never expire.
