AI Settings That Affect Output

These settings are configured in Settings → AI Content and are applied every time the AI generates content:

Include store name in title	Appends your brand to titles (e.g., "Product \| StoreName")
Include price	Mentions pricing naturally in descriptions and meta tags
SEO keywords	AI researches and includes high-impact keywords relevant to the product
Include CTA	Adds call-to-action phrases like "Shop now" or "Order today" in descriptions
Focus on benefits	Emphasizes value and benefits over technical features
Custom instructions	Any custom rules you write are injected into every AI prompt

How to Use

1 Navigate to wRanks → Products tab from the sidebar.
2 Products with red indicators are missing SEO data - start with those for maximum impact.
3 Click SEO Edit on any product to open the side-by-side editor.
4 Click the AI generate button next to any field (title, description, meta title, or meta description).
5 Review the AI suggestion. Edit it if needed, or accept it as-is.
6 Click Save to Shopify to publish the optimized content directly to your store.
7 For large stores, use Bulk Optimize - select multiple products and process all fields in one batch.

Pro Tip: Connect Google Search Console first. When GSC data is available, the AI uses real click, impression, and CTR data to make smarter optimization decisions - targeting keywords that already drive traffic to your store.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will changing my product title affect my existing Google rankings?

Title changes can temporarily affect rankings as Google re-evaluates the page. However, well-optimized titles generally lead to better rankings within 2-4 weeks. The AI is trained to preserve ranking-relevant keywords while improving click-through rates.

What is the difference between AI mode and Template mode?

AI mode generates unique, contextual content for each product. Template mode uses variable placeholders (like @{{product_name}}) to create consistent meta fields across all products. Templates are best for stores with hundreds of similar products.

Can I undo an optimization?

Yes. The side-by-side editor shows your current content alongside the AI suggestion. You can reject any change before saving. If you already saved, you can always revert to original content from Shopify admin.

How does bulk optimization work?

Select the products you want to optimize, choose which fields to generate (title, description, meta), and click Bulk Optimize. The app processes each product sequentially and applies AI-generated content to all selected fields. Each field uses 1 credit.

Does the AI consider my product images?

For product descriptions, the AI focuses on the product data (title, type, tags, vendor, price). For image-specific optimization, use the Image SEO feature which uses AI Vision to analyze your product photos.

Can I add custom instructions for specific products?

The custom instructions in AI Content Settings apply globally. For product-specific context, the AI automatically uses the product's existing data (tags, type, vendor, description) to generate tailored content.
